Hello! My name is Sheila Coe, and I'm a fiction writer. I'm working on my first novel, and hope to be published some time in the next five years. I created this journal to keep track of my progress for my friends and family and also for myself.
I graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2006 with a degree in photography. During the school year I work for LifeTouch Publishing (a yearbook company) cleaning up art in Photoshop, and in the off season I write.
I now have the rough draft of my novel finished! I will spend another three to six months on the second draft and editing, and then begin the search for a literary agent. My progress is documented in this journal.
With any luck, by 2012 I will be on the best seller list. That is, if the world doesn't come to an end before hand... Wish me luck!
